BIOGRAPHY
Stefano Savazzi received the MSc (2004) and Ph.D. (2008)
degree in Information Technology (both with honors) from the Dipartimento di
Elettronica e Informazione, Politecnico di Milano. He was a Visiting Researcher at
In 2012 he
joined the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR - Italian National Research
Council) holding a permanent position as Researcher at the IEIIT. institute (
His current
research interests include signal processing and networking aspects for
wireless communications with special focus on cognitive and cooperative
communication systems, wireless sensor networks for industrial automation and
critical process control. Dr. Savazzi won the D.N. Chorafas Foundation Award
for best Ph.D. dissertation.
